Your low battery fault is probably just stating the fact that the batteries are not charged enough and your inverter is or will shut down. Check your AC breakers inside of course and cycle them. It could be just one 30 amp breaker for example that feeds the inverter/charger.

In my 2013 Monaco the fuse between the battery and the inverter/converter is in the white (actually translucent) box in the upper left of the battery compartment. Ours has blown one time, probably from overloading while inverting.

Monaco Electric problems...

The inverter is the only item with power on the distribution panel... I checked the ground fault circuit in the rear of the coach, not tripped. It''s the same whether on shore power or generator as far as the lights and receptacles go.

Batteries not charging?

check to see that the circuit breakers for the inverter are on. These will be located in the AC circuit panels in the coach. I believe also that there is an on/off switch on the inverter, make sure this is on also. Your battery cutoff switch should be on, I would turn it back on.

Inverter issue or batteries? 2003 Dynasty

Try a set of jumper cables from the chassis battery to the house battery bank on your return trip. Also, make sure you fully charge all batteries from either shore power or the generator before departure.

The older Trace inverter has two negative 12v attachment lugs. The one on the front is from the house battery negative terminal, and one on the side has a short cable routed to the main frame rail. The one on the side to the frame rail provides the main ground for the entire house 12v system.

Here is a schematic that Monaco sent me showing the 120 volt circuit where the inverter info is located. Not much detail but does show the inverter & battery wiring. I have a PDF copy of my Wiring Diagrams, Monaco sent them to me last year at no charge.

With one 3000 inverter you can run one high load item - microwave, hair dryer or a single A/C. But a medium load added will overload the inverter (toaster). You could stack (if you have room and batteries), and have two 5000 Quattro''s or two 3000 Multiplus''s.

Inverter charge battery?

You can add a battery combiner, such as Trik-L-Start, that will send power from the house system to the chassis battery. The combiner will separate the batteries if you are not plugged in. A 20 yo MH may have had something installed by a prior owner.
