Mono council wary of ''massive'' 25 MW solar farm project

Mono council is raising a litany of grievances relating to Canadian Solar and Suncor''s plan to build an 110,664-panel solar farm on the northeast end of town. "It is a massive industrial use of rural land," Mono Deputy Mayor Ken McGhee exclaimed, referring to the 24.5 MW project proposed near Mono Adjala Townline and 25 Sideroad.
