Peak-shifting energy storage for home use
Energy storage can be used to shift the peak generation from the photovoltaic system to be used when the demand requires it. Excess energy can be stored during peak photovoltaic generation. This allows for the distribution of this energy when the photovoltaic system is not generating adequate power, or not generating at all. [pdf]
